Great question! I would suggest using wikis for a start. The University of Illinois has some excellent tutorials for instructors on how to implement web 2.0 tools into their classes.

    What do you think?

Um, I’m not sure I know what you’re asking. What type of application are you looking for? A wiki isn’t really an application. Are you looking to do one-on-one training with instructors are have a resource that all instructors can access.

Diigo! www.diigo.com awesome for bookmarking, underlining, tagging, and sharing links. Private groups are a breeze to create, and very easy to handle.

Google Docs should be pretty high on the list too…

Take a look at http://www.c4lpt.co.uk/index.html to see what other educators, e-teachers and education-related people list their top 10 tools.

I agree with Vahid, Google docs is great for collaboration. I think what applications you use depends on the subject taught. Blogging applications such as Wordpress and Blogger are useful for most areas. I know it’s obvious, but YouTube is good for slideshows with voiceovers. SlideShare is also good for posting lectures.
